Note:  WyoHistory.org is a project of the Wyoming State Historical Society and is a new window on Wyoming’s past.  Browse and search here for authoritative information on the history of our state.  New articles, photos and personal accounts of historic interest will be posted regularly.  Once posted, they’ll remain permanently available and permanently searchable.  This site is an important tool for researchers and school children.  Each story has been extensively researched and provides a detailed account of many events in Wyoming's past.  Also to be included is a section of oral histories gathered from Wyoming residents.

Membership Information

Membership in the Wyoming State Historical Society is available in a variety of categories from student memberships to lifetime memberships.  

Note:  Only AT LARGE memberships or donations can be accomplished on line.   If you wish to join through a chapter affiliation please contact the Society for additional information.  Chapter dues vary and will be added to the general membership fees, but can not be paid for online.
