1998 Wyoming Historical Calendar This calendar published by the American Heritage Center, University of Wyoming, in cooperation with the Wyoming State Historical Society. Commentary by Phil Roberts and edited by Rick Ewig. The photographs for the 1998 Wyoming Historical Calendar "feature a wide variety of images from the numerous collections of the American Heritage Center." The photos often show past Wyoming dignitaries, but they just as well show plain Wyoming people, such as those in the April photo of the Pioneer Creamery of Star Valley. Scenes from Buffalo, Casper, and early-day Evanston grace this calendar. The American Heritage Center is a part of the University of Wyoming, but it yet reaches out to the people of Wyoming. The AHC has been a strong supporter of the Wyoming State Historical Society and assists with several of its projects. Housed at the AHC are all of the files of the Wyoming State Historical Society, as well as the many photos that are represented by those found in the 1998 calendar.
