This map created by L.C. Bishop is marked "© - Wyoming State Archives & Historical Department 1959". The scale is 1 inch = 4 miles. The original dimensions are 17½ inches wide by 23½ inches high.

L.C. Bishop's map of Lander's cut off is in two parts: the east section and the west section. Lander's cut off is a portion of the Oregon National Historic Trail. The map includes: Gilberts Trading Post-1859; Bridger National Forest (Wyo.); Sweetwater River (Wyo.); Sweetwater Pony Express Station (Wyo.); Lander's cut off road; and portions of Sublette County (Wyo.); Lincoln County (Wyo.); and Freemont County (Wyo.).
